Our kids program is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and tweens (ages 10-14) and helps them develop a lifelong love of fitness.  In a group setting, kids participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well- rounded athletes.

Workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general and scaleable for any participant at any level.  This means that, for the most part, no two workouts are the same, so kids and teens never get bored and the novelty of each workout keeps them excited about participating.  The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they pull, push,run, throw, climb, lift and jump. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Trainers.

When fitness is defined as broad, inclusive and general it means that participants will become well-rounded athletes who will be better at any and every sport that they play because CrossFit doesn’t coach them to be good at just one thing.  Our workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

With workouts that are scaleable, our kids program can equally benefit a person who is less active or an accomplished athlete by tailoring workouts so that each participant is challenged just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.

Strength Training & Conditioning for amateur athletes ages 10 and up.

Today’s school athletic programs and teams are highly competitive environments requiring extraordinary fitness levels and exceptional athletic ability. Our CrossFit based Sports Conditioning Class gives athletes the extra fitness edge to make a difference on the field or court, in practice and more importantly, in the game!

Our CrossFit program is an excellent supplement to improve athletic performance in any sport. The CrossFit methodology looks to create a broad development of fitness that we want to carry over into sport but also, and more importantly, a life long appreciation of exercise.


We do not offer any sport specific training but before specialization of training can be considered the basis of all around fitness should be established. Specialization of a strength and conditioning program should be reserved for the collegiate and professional level. We understand that the success of your teen’s athletic pursuit must be driven by an enthusiastic passion. All too often there is a burnout factor with the competitive nature of skill and physical development of sport. CrossFit is a good outlet to develop athletically while taking a mental break from their sport that many teens need.

Our Pre-teen/Teen CrossFit Strength & Conditioning Class was created by coaches with competition experience, CrossFit, and CrossFit Football Certifications who wanted to build a better performance training program for scholastic athletes in all sports.

Program Details:

By combining Olympic & power lifting with gymnastic movements, bodyweight exercises and running – and executing at them high intensity, we significantly improve fitness and athletic performance in a fraction of the time.  Our program will improve athletic performance across ten physical domains with an emphasis on strength, power, speed and agility.

We place an extra emphasis on form and technique, not permitting our athletes to increase bar loads until they demonstrate an ability to master proper form for every movement.  Proper technique is critical to effective strength & power gains without injury.  We know this will benefit the athlete in our gym, and as important, when they’re training on their own at school or with their friends.

Strength & Conditioning Classes are limited to 16 athletes and are led by a CrossFit Certified Coach with significant experience in training amateur, competitive athletes.  In each class athletes will receive significant one-on-one coaching on the skills and workouts.

All of the workouts are measurable and repeatable which enables the athlete to collect empirical evidence of their strength and fitness gains and track their results.
