Mobility and Stretching


At CrossFit East Cobb, we know that true athleticism comes from much more than developing powerful muscles. It is equally important to condition flexibility, muscular balance, and coordination, which are frequently overlooked in many training programs. As a result, our trainers at CrossFit East Cobb put a pointed emphasis in including mobility and stretching in our workouts.

 Good mobility comes from far more than just stretching. At the beginning of every class at CFEC, we have a fifteen minute warm up in which mobility drills are included. Furthermore, we encourage our athletes to do mobility or accessory “extra credit” at the end of our classes. Finally, many of our members subscribe to mobility databases, such as ROMWOD or yoga classes, that provide them with supplementary information.
